Ibrahim Baroud studied Computer Science (B.Sc.) at the Technical University of Berlin. During his Bachelor’s studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Charité – Berlin University Medicine, where he submitted his Bachelor’s thesis entitled Detection and Analysis of Inconsistency in Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS). He also holds a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) from the Technical University of Berlin. Meanwhile, he worked at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), where he completed his Master’s thesis on dealing with offensive language for automatic joke generation. In September 2023, he joined the Q&U Lab as a researcher and PhD student studying the effect of various de-identification techniques on clinical data’s utility and robustness against privacy attacks.
